Buffalo Discflect, a local club operated by five members, will be hosting an open tournament on Saturday, August 14th, 2021. The tournament will take place in North Tonawanda, NY and will be outdoors. For the first time ever in the sport, there will be three skill divisions to register for, and each one will be its own separate tournament. Teams will have the ability to decide which division they wish to compete in. In addition, they will be testing out new scorecards and stats at the tournament.
We ask for your patience while this new group hosts their first tournament. There is a lot of planning that needs to come together in a short period of time. For this reason, online registration will begin in early July. We will put out an update and post a tournament page once it is ready, but teams can go ahead and save the date.
In the past, under our old name, we would be hosting the annual World Championship tournament. While we are not ready to host a true World Championship again as we properly rebuild the sport, there are already confirmed teams from a few states ready to travel in to participate in this open tournament. We are working closely with Buffalo Discflect to ensure success so everyone can have a fun day of competition.
